About Costa del Sol
Costa del Sol is a beach stretching approximately 15 kilometers in the municipality of San Luis La Herradura, La Paz. It is located just an hour from San Salvador and near the International Airport. Unlike other coasts in the country, its waters are calmer, making it ideal for swimming and motorized water sports. The beach is bordered by the Jaltepeque estuary, featuring navigable mangroves accessible by boat or kayak. It also offers surfable waves, especially between November and January, as well as sport fishing and a wide range of hotels and restaurants.
