About La Puntilla
La Puntilla is the western tip of the Costa del Sol peninsula in La Paz, where the Jaltepeque Estuary meets the Pacific Ocean. It brings together two waters: the open sea on one side and the calm estuary on the other. It is the main boarding point for boats heading to Isla Tasajera and the mangroves of the estuary.
