Brief History

The project began in 2021, and the BINAES opened on November 14, 2023, marking a turning point in the transformation of the Historic Center. It spans 24,000 square meters across seven levels, with a capacity for 3,600 people. More than just a library, it is a cultural and educational center: since its opening, it has hosted book fairs, interactive exhibitions, educational technology forums, and open recitals. It is managed by the Ministry of Culture.
