39 meters of drop
El Chorrerón is part of the series of waterfalls that feed the rivers of northern Morazán, an area that remained isolated for decades and, after the armed conflict, began to be included in the circuit of the Route of Peace. Its minimally developed access is part of its charm: the rock wall and the surrounding vegetation preserve the original appearance of the waterfall.
With a height of 39 meters, it is one of the tallest waterfalls in Morazán: the flow is strong during the rainy season.
You can camp in the river area.
Wear shoes with grip: the stones around the pool are slippery.
