Brief History

Las Flores has established itself as one of the most recognized surf destinations in El Salvador due to the consistency of its right-hand waves. Unlike the spots on the western coast, which receive much more traffic, the east has maintained a low profile for years, allowing these waves to be preserved with fewer people in the water. Around the beach, a small selection of hotels and surf camps has grown, which today supports the local economy.

Visit Tips

The wave is right and long: during low tide, tube sections appear.

If you're just starting out, El Cuco is five minutes away and has much softer waves.

Punta Mango is 15 minutes away: you can surf both in the same trip.
