Island of the Holy Spirit

Isla El Espíritu Santo is the largest island in the Jiquilisco Bay, located in Usulután; its main community is known as El Jobal. It is inhabited by families who rely on coconut farming and the artisanal production of coconut oil, organized in a cooperative. You can reach it by boat from Puerto El Triunfo. The island features extensive coconut groves, open beaches along the Pacific, and mangroves. It is a nesting area for sea turtles. Services are managed by the community. The visit combines beach time, coconut groves, and a tour through the mangroves.
